In 2003 I began researching the true venetian plasters, and shortly thereafter trained with The School of Italian Plaster Decoration Academy in the US, as well as the SAFRA Decoration Academy in Verona, Italy. Ancient Strokes was founded in 2004. The name depicts the lost art of venetian plastering techniques. We have grown quite a bit since opening shop in early 2004. We now have crews available for any size project anywhere in the US. No project is too large or too small. We consistently train to keep our skills and methods of application current with new plaster techniques as well as new finishes. We are fully insured and certified. We have added some new plasters and are offering more extensive designs to our clients this year. Please review these under "Gallery " and "Signature Finishes" on the main menu. | My fascination with art began at the young age of 12. It has always been a passion of mine. I began playing with the US made acrylic venetian plasters in 2000 through 2003. It was shortly after when friends, neighbors and strangers began asking if they could hire me to "decorate" their homes that I founded "Ancient Strokes Design Studios, LLC ". |
